So my buddy just purchased one of the Sig Legion flux raiders from RTSP a few weeks ago. I am still SMH that these are GTG in NJ. But I have seen first hand the item. Please feel free to talk amongst yourselves. I would love to see this state move into this century with clear firearms laws and such. And he’ll maybe someday be able to own/register a SBR or Supressor.
No knowledge of that specific firearm, but I can assure you that the very last thing that TPTB in this state want to see is “clear firearms laws”: that would decrease the fear factor that they depend upon to discourage firearms ownership and use here. Repressing exercise of 2A by Jersey citizens specifically, and keeping those citizens cowed by authority generally, are among the chief motivations for these a$$clowns.
I like Sig and this looks cool but it’s not really my cup of tea. I held this and they have it for rent at RTSP (Union.) The spring loaded brace deployment is the only cool thing to me. Its bulky to hold as a pistol and I found it uncomfortable to get my head down to see through the optic with the brace.
Some people seem to think someone will blow their thumb off if not paying attention when they grip it 2 handed.
As far as it being GTG in NJ, why not? We have far too many restrictions as it is.
I’m actually surprised RTSP got one in, I’ve been waiting for one for 3 months…
They had 4 total. Not sure how
I hear ya. I think it’s a nice option between a pistol and actual SBR. But I also see the “cramped space” argument. And I think, unlike the brace that is meant for an arm. The actual form 1 would allow for a small stick, making it more comfortable.
Mind if I ask what were they selling them for?
I’d have to ask him< I wasn’t paying that close attention. But somewhere in the $1400 range I think.
I have the original Glock Version on a G35 with lone wolf compensator and barrel for both 9mm and .40
I have the magholder with the original built in Olight and the Flux holster. I’m looking for the Glock magholder and holster that takes an X300U.
Overall - it is a very handy package and tons of fun to shoot.
The Sig version is much more refined and the addition of a manual safety makes it a much more useful system.
Agreed. The 320 set up is cool. I have a legion slide that needs a home. So might be a perfect match.
You’ll need a fire control module as well.
