Favorite Lube

What is everyone using these days?
I’ve tried most of the popular lubes and have settled on Slip 2000. Oil and grease, been using it for a few years now, what I like most is that after a few applications, all that is needed is a wipe down, and the soot just comes off, cleaner is really not even needed.

Worst I tried was Cherry Balmz, the stuff would harden when left for an extended time.

I have been using Weapon Shield for years

KY Jelly of course! Actually, I use Tri Flow. It seems to do a great job and lasts a long time!

For black powder guns (no petroleum products. Petroleum + black powder residue = TAR) I really like Frog Lube and if I can’t get that, Ballistol.

For modern, I did a business deal years ago with a company that distributed Tetra Lube products, so I pretty much have a lifetime supply. Even if I didn’t have this much I’d still use it. Great stuff !!

Tri Flow, because I’ve always used it and I have a big bottle of it.

Slip EWL and slip grease on my triggers.
I also use outers gun oil on my barrels and bore, Slip on the BCG.

I mostly use G96 CLP, it’s made right here in Jersey. Also keep Hoppe’s and Lucas Extreme Duty on hand.

Mobil1 synthetic motor oil.

It depends what I’m lubing but mostly use Militec-1. Where grease is necessary I tend to use Super Lube. Neither are a cleaner or rust prevention. I also use regular CLP in some cases but is not my favorite.

Boretech

Rem Oil for gun cleaning & collet lube on a MEC shotgun press. The MEC lithium grease attracts dirt like a magnet and causes problems. A clean MEC is a happy MEC.

Exact same here

I always have extra full synthetic oil when I do my oil change. Mobil 1 or Penzoil full synthetic are what I use.

Shooters Choice grease in the syringe

Oils, I bounce around with a few options, from RemOil, Hoppes, and Boretech

I did try MPro7? oil and have had new surface rust issues after using it, unlike any other oils, so not something I suggest.
