I’m actually not a fan either I just don’t own any of those firearms, so I had no other input than to give an AI response.
It is slowly creeping into my life, I refused to use the Alexa Dot/ echo devices and I didn’t use my phone’s built in “assistant.” Some of my phone’s features don’t seem to work properly with the assistant disabled though, so I begrudgingly activated it. It is especially noticeable when using android auto.
I don’t want to side track the thread too much and maybe there needs to be a thread dedicated to AI pro’s/con’s. In my company it’s basically being forced for us to learn it. Specifically Google AI Essentials, Google AI Professional and other trainings. I recently took a different position in the company that has freed up a ton of time as I get onboarded so I’ve had the chance to actually start these trainings. There are a ton of things that I can just do faster myself but for the times AI actually saves me time, it’s astonishing. Think large groups of data that needs to be analyzed and compared. I can do it myself but it would take me a lot more time. For the record I know how to code in Google Sheets to filter data to what I need for things I pull regularly it’s just easier to build a report to do that. For ad hoc situations I just use Gemini or Notebook LM.

when i google searched it, i didn’t get that much. i did look at the pdf on the tisas, and there was no mention about types of ammo other than “use factory loaded and approved ammo” comments. i figured the sig probably could since it was used for duty, and kinda feel the glock should be too…but couldn’t find much on them. the sig seems 'specially tough since it had such a short production run.
+p .45 is likely safe in any modern pistol chambered for it. It is a low pressure round. Typically it’s loaded to ~19000psi. +p is 21,000. 9mm and .40 are modern high pressure cartridges which run at 35,000psi.
