They are excellent trunks. I bought one a while ago for my wife’s 8" telescope. I liked it so much I bought a couple more for “stuff”.

Reading some reviews, these are not as “sturdy” as other plastic ammo boxes, so you may not be able to fill them to the brim with ammo and expect to toss them around.

They are not super rugged Pelican cases, they are best suited for gear. I use one to store my freeze dried food. They are sturdy enough to stand on, and to stack without collapsing.

I have one.
I think you could fill it with brass and be OK. Of course, don’t drop it.

These are great for gear. I keep the large one in the back of my truck with “emergency” type needs. Use some “D” shaped weatherstripping to make them a bit more water resistant.
