Clinton Canceled
I may be in for Stafford Forge, will be keenly watching for date.
Generally speaking, I prefer Stafford over Clinton, but the date and other commitments are the ultimate determining factor.
we will be doing both. I also prefer stafford for the elbow room and a pretty good rifle range to boot. The rifle rang at clinton is weird
Stafford Forge is also my choice, so far the date works.
Since there is more interest in Stafford thus far, maybe we should switch the dates.
Stafford 6/8
Clinton 6/22
What say Y’all?
I’m fine with that. Wherever they might be I’m free both those dates so will be at both outings.
Going to the Oaks gun show on the 8th, have to pass.
Had the shoulder operation on May 15 so I am done for a while. I’ll be back as soon as I can. Good luck all.
40% chance rain Sunday, what can I say? Hopefully the weather sticks to the plan and the rain ends in the wee hours.
Can we start calling you ‘Rainman’?
Okay folks, the Stafford shoot is on for tomorrow. We have a rain free window from 0800 to about 1500, exactly the time frame for a good day of shooting.
In addition to busting clays, I’ll be bringing a couple rifles too.
All packed up, and will arrive at Stafford around 0830.
Hope you guys had a good day shooting.
Just about any day shooting beats a day working or doing chores.
My shoulder is not happy though.
Same here with my back. But it was worth it, I got to mince a cooked ham with M855. Paul Harrel would have been proud.
I use this when I do a lot of shotgun shooting… comes in handy at LVSC or a clay day.
I was researching them yesterday. Not sure if I want to get something like that or a vest with the pad in the vest.
Vest is nice but this is smaller and a lot more portable, and can fit under a jacket easy if needed.
I will be setting up a Clinton shoot in a week or two. In addition to low interest for the 22nd, I managed to bugger up my arm and wont be able to shoot for a while.
I’ll post a new notice when we have a date.
