So Ive been doing ccw qualifications in central jersey. Hopewell twsp since last December. Its 125$ for class and live fire. I can also do it in south jersey at sjsc. 155$ per person. Also nj rpo certified and maryland starting next month. For md i need a minimum of 12 per class. Only for fingerprinting purposes. I dont charge much. Cause my costs are low. For nj minimum class is 6 students. Maximum of 12.

So were sending an email to the mayor to negate the 150 fee per municipality. Since they do nothing for that fee. Other municipalities are doing the same. And i believe 13 as of now. Mostly in ocean twsp are not charging the fee. Lets see how it goes
It is not clear what you are complaining about…the fees for a carry permit, or the fee for taking the class from a certified instructor.
The State’s fees are a BS infringement, and the requirement to take a class is another BS infringement.
Paying an instructor for the time and effort he has invested in obtaining the certifications to enable you to meet the BS infringement forced on you by the State is fair. Nobody is entitled to the fruits of somebody else’s labor for free.
