The sensitive places can be a PITA, but personally, my day-to-day life avoids pretty much all of them.
My kids are not in school any more and capable of driving themselves to college. I’m lucky enough to be healthy enough to not need to go to a doctor very regularly.
Even if you are very concerned about being jacked up for carrying in a sensitive place, getting your carry permit has other advantages.
You are no longer restricted to driving directly to/from the range. You can take you gun to your buddy’s house to get it worked on (I installed a new thumb safety on a 1911 just last week), plus you will be counted among the people who do want to exercise their rights because you made the effort to get your permit.
Is that worth $200 to you? Maybe, maybe not. You decide.
One other thing to consider…
The New Year started with 2 significant events. There are likely going to be more when the crazies lose their minds after Trump’s inauguration. If you’re away from your home, would you rather have a gun with you or not as you try to make your way home?
