BF6 Demo

Curious if anyone is a gamer. I’ve been gaming quite a few years. Took a break recently for about 7 months from COD because I couldn’t stand the hacking. Ive been watching for the BF6 multi-player demo and release date. I haven’t played BF since #3.Which was an amazing game.
I attached intro and game play. You will have to fast forward to gameplay. It looks pretty f-ing amazing.

Love to game on both PC and xbox. Have very little time for it lately.

That does look great. Any recommended PC specs out for it yet?

Former gamer. Last game I played was probably Halo Reach. But I played damn near every game on PC and most on X-Box before that.

I got fed up when the cheating became rampant.

So far all i know is, 120 FPS recommended but not needed. Im still on xbox X which should be fine. Im starting to look at smaller pc configurations. I like to sit in my favorite chair to enjoy the game so, no mouse/ keyboard for me.

Halo was a great game series. The tv series was pretty good also.
The most recent COD I took a break from, they were getting banned left and right.

Cut my teeth on Quake, joined a clan, then started a clan with 3 other guys, Clan US East, US meaning us as we. In our hay day we ran lan parties twice a year in Ligoneer PA, it was central to most of us, we had Canadian members and a few Brits also, my favorite was oclocking a celeron 300 and feeling like you were on top of the world, open GL changed everything, holy shit did the game look pretty. We played Quake at the start then pretty much got into every FPS that was worth anything, even had members that wrote code, one member wrote code for a front end to counter strike, his name was beetlefart, it may even still be out there. Got my handle from my ex wife, I would play quake all night, she would get up and see me sitting at the computer and yell at me that I have played that game so long my eyes were red. We ran a tournament called club conflict, sponsors, prizes. Good memories

Ahhh the clan era. What a mess they could be. It was great time though

Watching this release closely. BF was one of my favorite series since 2. Then there was the buggy release of 4 and it was all downhill from there. I PC game, but honestly lucky if I can get an hour or two a month to play.

The vids do look great but I feel like most major studios have failed to deliver for a few years now, so I refuse to pre-order. I will however buy if it is actually as good as it looks on release, runs well, etc…

I played the original Battlefield 1942 competitively (CAL-I). This looks pretty intriguing - the COD-level gun customization without the stupid level of paint and gun charms… Vehicles look good… I’m excited!

I started with Wolfenstein on a 386 and an IPX 10mb half duplex hub for a network a long, long time ago in a country far, far away…yeah, I know, I’m old. Adding a Soundblaster card was the bees’ knees.

I’ve played a lot of the CoD games and quickly got fed up with the hackers so only played single player. The games got so expensive for a single player game that I haven’t bought CoD for years.

MoH and Delta Force were a lot of fun for a long while.

The most fun, back in the day was America’s Army 3. There was a bunch of us that got into a clan for that.

These days, I play Insurgency: Sandstorm in co-op mode with guys that are not into running around like crazy. We work together to take each objective, covering each other’s backs, etc.

God, we’re old.

I’m still on Solitaire.

There is a free open beta coming up in August, for those that are interested in trying the gameplay.

The free open beta is for everyone who asked to be part of battlefield labs, whether you were accepted or not.

I’m too lazy to sign up but I will be interested to hear what people are saying.

(I was ready to move on from CoD when the ninja turtles showed up but now that beavis and butthead are “operators” it sealed the deal)

Yes, the skins have become ridiculous.
:expressionless_face:

That is one of my top ten… no… top three fave games. I used to play late at night with headphones on and scare the shit out of myself the first time I played it.

You think you are safe or at least not under any immediate threat, just wandering around, and then, Rawwrrr, some monster appears out of nowhere.
