What ya buy? Something yummy?
Picked up a Beretta Cheetah 80x in .380. Been having fun with the S&W Bodyguard 2.0 but was my one and only .380 so wanted something else in that.
Hope to get my first shots with that tomorrow, let ya know how it goes.
call beretta and check if they ever offered a .32acp barrel for that. I had a phone conversation with beretta a few years ago and they said they might be offering one.

I just read Beretta is discontinuing the .32 Cheetah.
Link?
I seen .32 models available but I don’t have anything in .32 and never had interested in that.
First shots in .380 were nice! I found it to be an easy gun to shoot for its size. I’m happy with it ![]()
Here is the pistol, the article may have been on Langdon site, I don’t remember.

Figure not to clog up the NICS thread and make this its own topic.
Apparently Beretta does not sell any spare barrels for this gun, at least none that I could find. There’s speculation on AR15.com that Langdon Tactical will eventually sell .32 conversion kits. You can order a new 80X from them in .32 so who knows.
.32 seems to be on par with .380 if not slightly cheaper. Not that I want to get into yet another caliber but if there’s ever a .32 conversion available I’d probably end up getting that.
Found a Reddit thread discussing this. There’s a couple things going on regarding their scheduled production and import batches. The 80X is only made in Italy so who knows how that factory operates. Maybe they make so many frames in a run and then move on to something else.
Apparently Langdon had to pause their 80X work due to lack of parts. Some speculate tariffs to blame for the importation slow down. I’m guessing just delayed not discontinued but who knows.
So do you like the bodyguard or the cheetah better?
Apples & oranges. I don’t like one any better than the other and I like them both for different reasons… The Bodyguard 2.0 is hard to beat for it’s size. It’s super slim, fits nicely in a pocket holster and is barely noticeable, maybe it’s a cellphone in my pocket… While it gains points for being super small, it also loses points for the same. Being super small, it took me more than my usual amount of familiarization rounds to be consistent learning my grip on that.
I’ve been shooting my 92s for so long the Cheetah felt very familiar and was almost too easy. But it’s considerably larger than the Bodyguard 2.0 so really not getting that in my pocket. Different trigger feel being hammer fired vs striker for the Bodyguard. I mainly bought it just to have something else to shoot .380. Mostly a range toy for me and it’s a good shooter so I’m happy about the purchase. Not sure I’ll get around to carrying this one as I have better options for that.
