Paid for pistol around noon time today. Store called 15 minutes ago to say background check came back and all set to go. It’s been a minute since I went thru this process. Last time I did it was a day or two wait time.
Why has it improved? These people finally doing their job correctly? Anything to do with the pending supreme court decisions?

Hmmm, yesterday (7-Oct) paid for my new (used) Marlin 880…nothing today
If they were doing their jobs the checks would come back in minutes. Anything longer is a deliberate delay.
