Went to the range tonight for only 45 minutes and apparently all hell broke lose while we were enjoying ourselves.
22 was all jammed so tried to get through North Plainfield. Detour after detour downed trees and power lines. Got home to find no power so gassed up the generator. Ran and got more gas just in case.
Got pretty windy here, but no power loss. Based on the description you gave, it’s possible your area had a microburst. A mini tornado that fucks up everything in its skinny path.
That is a possibility. The cover on my boat is all a mess and that’s held up even in some of the heaviest winds. At least no serious damage here. I drove past several demolished vehicles and seen a few trees lying on houses.
Green Brook / Plainfield area got hit hard… and nothing in Bridgewater by me…
