Magtech Primers

Magtech primers are manufactured by the Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos (CBC), a Brazilian company that is part of the CBC Global Ammunition group. CBC is one of the world’s largest ammunition manufacturers and produces primers, powder, projectiles, and brass in vertically integrated facilities. The CBC group also owns other major ammunition brands, including Sellier & Bellot in the Czech Republic and MEN in Germany.

They are very hard. I only trust federal in my match or CCW guns.

A while back I was considering getting some Magtech primers and decided not to because I’d heard complaints that they are hard and also not a lot of load data for them.

Have no opinion on magtech primers, don’t reload, I have in the past 4-5 months burned through 2500 rounds of magtech steel and brass with no failures to ignite.

As stated thay are very hard. Not the best for striker fired pistols.
