Acme - Progesso Soups $1.69 A Can, Limit 6

Stopped in Acme to pick up a few things. Cruised by the soup aisle and noticed Progresso cans were on sale. $1.69 a can but limit of six. You have to put in you phone number / use “frequent shopper” account.

Guessing you can probaby use you & your spouses acct (assuming you’re married) or just ask the cashier to use a “courtesy acct” & pay cash to make multiple trips and purchases.

FYI - I found myself back at Acme today. Used my wife’s cell# to pick up six more cans at $1.69 each.

Winner, winner chicken dinner!

Loaded with salt. Wife wont let me eat them anymore…

Agree. I cant see how anyone eats it…

Upon reading this thread, I knew I had to contribute. Progresso soups, most flavors Fifty Six cents a can. They aren’t oddball varieties but all popular and delicious kinds. The Progresso tomato basil soup was even less at thirty six cents a can. Also, Kraft mac and cheese was thirty eight cents a box. I bought about 30 cans of soup, told my son and he went there and bought 10 cases (120 cans). There was no limit on quantity. Like I said, most cans were 56 cents but check the skew code on the shelf because some of them are still $1.75 and up. Here’s the location. Shop Rite, Nottingham Way, Hamilton Twp. in Mercer County where the old state fairgrounds used to be and is in front of the beautiful park, Grounds for Sculpture.

Important update….. My wife just reminded me that it is NOT Shop Rite. It is the Walmart at that location. Sorry for the confusion.

They have some “low sodium” choices. Not many, but they were included.

@Ray911 Wow, those are CRAZY good prices.

Buy it cheap, stack it deep!!

I didn’t buy any of the low sodium choices. I figured there are plenty of other things that could do me in.

Most of the 56 cent soups at this location are gone and the price is back in the $2.00+ range.
