I do not have this exact one, but I recently bought a similar product and found it extremely handy. You won’t power a house with it, but these doohickeys are great for anywhere you need juice when you are away from an outlet. Camping, trade shows, outdoor parties, lights for the shed, mini-fridge, etc. It can also be recharged using solar panels
This one has a 4.5 star rating from 522 buyers. It is also a pure sine wave inverter so it is safe for laptops and such.
Seconding having these around - if you don’t have a full generator these can be VERY handy.
I’ve got 2 of them, one similar to the deal above which is super handy to have as an “all around power source” including taking along on road trips/camping. The other is much larger with an additional extra battery.
Also have a small portable array of solar panels which supposedly will recharge them (haven’t actually tested that out yet).
In the even of an extended power outage I can use the big one to power my remote work setup (FIOS modem/router/laptop/monitors) and also periodically power up my fridge/freezer just enough to keep the temp down in it.
