One bit of positive news out of SCOTUS today - they killed the Worth v. Harrington case which effectively was a stamp of approval on the prior pro-2A decision of a lower court.
Worth v. Harrington was a case challenging Minnesota’s ban on carry by 18-20 year olds, filed in 2021:
In 2023 a district court ruled that the ban was unconstitutional:
Minnesota appealed to the 8th circuit.
In 2024 the 8th circuit affirmed (upheld) the district court’s prior opinion.
Minnesota appealed to SCOTUS in January of this year, and today SCOTUS officially declined to grant certiori (hear the case), which means the original district court decision stands with no further possibility of appeal:
