17 round mag

i bought a 2011 handgun but the mags were not pinned they’re 17rounds,is there somewhere I can go ? Can I do it myself ?, feels kinda weird that it doesn’t come pinned already

Most all FFL’s can pin a mag, try the range you use, where you located?

Did the ffl not pin them?

Nah I was also shocked I’m like sweet a 17 round mag I assume it’s pinned ,went to load it up and it went pass 10 rounds lol, kinda sweet kinda sucks I gotta get it pinned but I don’t want it to bite me back later, yea didn’t come pinned idky if they forgot or if it was intentional for me to have “fun” but I rather follow the law and keep my license to own firearms

Sweet I’ll ask the house based ffl I was at if they could,if not I’ll try bobs little sport shop I’m located in Cumberland county

Just go to magblocks.com and order the blocks prob 5 bucks each an order a tube of epoxy as well Easy to do your self.

You have not said where you are, and I don’t want to know.

If hypothetically, I somehow found myself in possession of a mag that could hold more than 10 rounds and I was in NJ, the very last thing I would do is post on the internet about it.

Let’s just suppose that I live in PA. If I had a full/normal capacity magazine and I wanted to bring my gun to a NJ range, I would not destroy a normal capacity mag! I would leave it at home and buy a 10 round mag for the Jersey range!

Consider also that normal mags WILL become legal in NJ soon! Mark my words!:slightly_smiling_face:
