Reading that NJ just increased the NICS fee by ~$4. Looking to verify:
I posted this a few weeks ago. They sent out a dealers email and it said they were updating the NICS system and increasing the fee by $4. They didn’t increase the fee as of last week.

Why not upgrade the systems using the budget that is provided every year.

They said it was to automate the system to where it didn’t have to be done manually like they all currently are. NJ is actually not the most expensive NICS check surprisingly. Washington state is $33.

I wouldn’t mind the fee if they actually came back in a few minutes like it’s supposed to. This driving a half hour twice is a real pain in the ass.
Who am I kidding I’d still complain about the fee.

have any of the NJ gun groups contacted Harmeet about this, like some other states CCW permits get to bypass nics maybe the USAG can fix this now. and penalize NJ for taking their time on “instant”
