At 11.5" barrel, that would be a stretch to replicate.
Would need to be configured as an “other” which is not possible if your intent on keeping the CAR-15 lower reciever.
You could easily find the parts to assemble one as an “other” but it will lack the roll marks. Its nothing more than an SBR with standard milspect parts, but it will require the brace.
I am not looking for a 100% clone correct model. I have seen pics of clones with 12.3,12.5, and 12.7 barrels. I am fine with that. I was hoping to gather some ideas and see if anyone here in NJ has assembled something similar. A big stumbling point is the muzzle device. Retro Rifles makes a “blast forward” device that is like a XM177 hider, but with no slots cut into it. It looks very much like the Blood DIamond rifle. This is supposedly similar to a muzzle device used on early Car 15 / Gau’s.
