Just like the government… take my money and all is well but work the system for free and all hell of rules are imposed onto you
If you’ve got a better idea to protect the forum members from spammers/scammers other than requiring some forum participation before posting ads, we’re listening.

@NJGF-Admin i apologized, I did read it but I’m assuming I misunderstood. Do I need to “cross off” the entire list? I just assumed since I liked 3 post I was good to go
Sorry if that was unclear. Yes it’s the entire list of activities that must be achieved not just 1 of them.
The community decided to put these policies are in place to discourage spammers/scammers. The only thing that is restricted is WTS/WTB ads. You are welcome and encouraged to engage with the community otherwise until reaching that level.
If you want to skip all of the user activity requirements you could donate under the subscriptions as that substitutes as identity verification and promotes to Trust Level 2 (and helps us keep the lights on 
)

So even though I’m a gun owner, who resides in nj, and wants to meet, in person…I have to like a bunch of posts and reply to a bunch of stuff in order to gain a “trust level” (even though the sale will be in person). OR I can totally bypass that by giving you money? I thought I’ve seen lame and corny, but I was wrong.

I don’t know of any forums, firearm related or not, that let a 2 day member post WTS/WTB items without some type of trust levels achieved whether it’s paying membership, donating or postings.It’s not something new. I find it mind boggling, that as a minimum all that is required is participation on your part in the community. You have a pretty shitty mindset friend.

I had level 3 trust at some point last year. Did I just do the wrong category?
