A possible maybe for next weekend.
Next Sunday sounds good. Forces me to power wash my fence tomorrow. 
Spray it down with diluted Mold Armor, let it sit 10 minutes or so, and then power wash. It will make the fence look new and retard new growth. Mold Armor has a bleach like smell but it is safe for most plants and shrubs. If you don’t have a tank sprayer, use the Mold Guard that comes as a hose end sprayer. It is labeled for washing siding, but it’s the same stuff.
Expensive, I have good results with plain bleach.
