Just wanted to say that for the last 10 years in my town the timeframe for any firearm related transaction, whether it be FID, P2P carry permit for me or any of my family or friends was about 80 days, just got my approval after 14 days and the one thing I did notice was a change in the email for the permit officer, a different guy must be doing them now so maybe the old guy was anti-citizen gun ownership. not gonna say the town cause I don’t want any bad karma for my carry permit next time.
I don’t think we give the NJSP enough credit for the FARS website.
Establishing FARS and forcing FID/P2P/PTC processes on it really removed a lot of the “hide the delay” opportunities for the local municipalities.
