I’m reminded of a similar discussion on the old forum as Sandy approached. People were talking about what they were doing in anticipation of the storm. One of the posters said something like:

I’ve been getting Nixle alerts that LBI has been closed down on Rt. 72 since yesterday. No in or out.
Just about the complete Blvd is underwater.
I’ve heard that LBI is in really tough shape, possibly as bad as Sandy.
And thanks for posting that video. Looks like someone took a drive around my neighborhood.
