T minus 7 days to the En Banc rehearing on Feb 11th!
This directly contradicts the D’s stance on the guy that got smoked in MN. Dems are saying the guy was within his rights to carry a legal ccw, and making a BIG deal over it.
NJ… It is NOT okay to CCW in or near a protest. MN… the “protestor” was legally carrying at a “protest”.
If dems didn’t have double standards, they have none at all.
FOR THE WIN !!!
Who is the NJ executive assistant attorney general that will be arguing? Angela Cai?
Based on the ‘she’, has to be Angela Cai:
The current Executive Assistant Attorneys General in the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General (as listed on the official leadership page at njoag.gov) are Sundeep Iyer and Angela Cai. There appear to be two individuals holding the title of Executive Assistant Attorney General, which is a high-ranking position (often third in line after the Attorney General and First Assistant Attorney General) advising on legal, policy, and administrative matters.
Sundeep Iyer is listed as Executive Assistant Attorney General (and also noted in some contexts as Chief Counsel to the Attorney General).
Angela Cai is also listed as Executive Assistant Attorney General. She previously served as Deputy Solicitor General and has been in the role since around late 2024.
I had read an article that, Iyer is to be replaced and Cai is leaving at the end of the month. Of course I can’t find it now. And why would they have the Mom influencers of Philly show up. PA’s carry laws are so less restrictive than ours.![]()
Solid 2A voice.
Heck, I am still waiting for some AWB/Mag sun… but still hopeful.
Yeah, to be clear, tomorrow is “just” a re-hearing of oral arguments, but it’s a whole new set of judges. I’m willing to bet money they ain’t gonna let it sit for 2 years like the first set did.
sure you want to bet money. ruling might come out in a few years, will be in our favor but will be stayed pending SC taking case, there will be a completely different SC make up by then, I’m thinking 2029, and they will rule against us. many of us will be in our graves by then. and even if we are victorious the communist governors and AG’s have already written their rebuttal laws and we will be at square 1 again. the ruling will be so weak that the left can drive aircraft carriers through it.
I love the optimism!
We’ll never be able to carry in NJ either, right?
Oh, you can carry, but better not fire it!
