I'm Baaaack

Glad to see that someone has resurrected a state gun forum. New forum won’t let me have a space in my board name, so I guess on here I am: PizzaBob.

I’ll have to add the perusal of this forum to my morning routine.

Adios,

Welcome “back” @PizzaBob !

Welcome back Bob!

How are you doing?

Welcome :+1:

The Man, the Myth, the Legend! Welcome back! I’ve seen you and your ride at your favorite coffee shop now and then, but never had the time to stop and shake your hand. I’m looking forward to some wheel gun updates, etc. from you!

BOB!!!

That was going to be the entire post, but software said no.

Greetings from Exit 105

Still upright and on the right side of the turf. Doing more collecting than shooting, but still manage one match a month (Shongum). Where have you been?

Adios,

Pizza Bob

I’m still involved in running Phillipsburg. We have dropped IDPA in favor of GPA - fewer rules & more fun. It’s kinda like IDPA from 2017 with a bit of USPSA sprinkled on top.

Still working major matches too. I did Mid Atlantic and Area 8 in the last couple of months.

Howdy Bob and welcome back.

Welcome back

Welcome back Bob!

Welcome back. I just found this again myself recently.

Welcome back Bob, met you and Maggie a few times at the Starbucks. Learned a lot from your posts and enjoyed the pics of some of your collection. I thought of you when I recently acquired a 28-2 of 1978 vintage.

Thought this name sounded familiar. We went to an IDPA match in Somerset together 14 years ago with my buddy Vic. Your the reason I love the Chevy SS so much :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:. I just rejoined the new forum also! Welcome

Just want to say thanks to one and all for the warm welcome.

Age & infirmity have me down to pretty much shooting just one match a month (Shongum - with a revolver, of course), but may have to give Stu’s GPA a try one of these days.

Spend just about every afternoon at Starbucks on Rt 31 (The one where Stop & Shop is) but alas, without Maggie who passed in 2023 at 16 YO. We now have Mousse, also a GSP and Maggie’s doppelganger, but about 180 degrees from her, “personalitywise”. Doesn’t like to ride in a car and not fond of a leash, but we take her there occasionally.

Doing less shooting and maybe a tad more collecting (post-war S&W revolvers). It’s getting harder to find interesting Smiths - I’ve always liked the oddball or unusual ones.

So if you are driving up or down Rt 31 in the Pennington area and happen to see either a dark green Chevy SS or a light blue Corvette parked in the end space at Starbucks, stop in and say hello, I’ll be the “gray beard” (literally) sitting outside. Thinking maybe we should have one of those “get togethers” there in the not too distant future.

Adios,

Pizza Bob

Welcome back, Bob!
Your encyclopedic S&W knowledge was missed.

Brian, now in Cherry Hil instead of Woodbury

Ugh!!! Sorry to hear about Maggie! My 686 is named after her. (The one that you helped me acquire at the former Harry’s in Bordentown.) I’ll keep an eye out for you in the township. Heck, perhaps @Golfbattery will have time to make it. Ha, ha, ha!

Saw him on Sunday at a car show at the Pennington Fire Co.
