It took me two years after our move, in part because I had to finish putting together the shop and build that workbench first, but I finally finished building my reloading bench. It’s a treat; at our old house I had almost no shop space. I had my Dillon bolted to a crappy steel desk I’d picked up on the street on trash day, and to use the MEC or RCBS single stage I had to clear space on another small bench and clamp it down. Finally I’ve got room to have them all set up at once, including a second Dillon my father in law passed down to me many years ago.
It’s an 8’ bench and built like a tank. From right to left there is an RCBS powder measure, an RCBS Rock Chucker, two Dillon 550B’s (I never have to change back and for the between small and large primer feeds again!) and a MEC Sizemaster. in 12 Ga. There is room on the end to mount a Lee 20 gauge press I’ve never used, but frankly, I’ll probably never use it here, either.
Just out of frame is a smaller Harbor Freight workbench for gunsmithing/gun cleaning work. Just out the window is a great view of the lake.
I loaded up my first 150 rounds of .45 ACP this morning, and by noon it was gone…
