Another person joining with the same handle as I had on the old site.
Resident of multiple states, including NJ and I’ll be spending more time in NJ. I’ll be trying to adapt to the very different laws rules and regulations from the gun friendly states that I’m used to shooting in.
I’ll probably be asking lots of questions and hopefully will get meaningful help and adjusting to the different world.
Some things about me -
Location - Central Bergen County
I’ve been shooting USPSA but the organization seems to be disintegrating. I only see 1 NJ club on their site and this means 1 match a month which isn’t encouraging. My competition loads are custom and I’ve been reloading at a friend’s house since I don’t have space in any of my homes for a reloading setup. I’ll be posting about that separately.
I hate shooting indoors but it doesn’t look like there are many (or any) places to do that near where I live. Again, I’ll be posting about that separately.
I’ll also be adapting, or trying to adapt, to 10 rd mags. I’m only bringing compliant guns and mags to NJ.

To try and prevent spammers you can’t edit a post as a new user. Once you reach Trust Level 2 you will be able to edit your post for 30 days.
Get to trust level 2 by…
- Visiting at least 15 days, not sequentially
- Casting at least 1 like
- Receiving at least 1 like
- Replying to at least 3 different topics
- Entering at least 20 topics
- Reading at least 100 posts
- Spend a total of 60 minutes reading posts
From what I’ve seen so far everyone who’s participating gets promoted to Trust Level 2 on their 15th visit.

Came across this new forum the other day and just got around to signing up. I was on the old forum for probably about 10 years using the same name. Glad to see something like this again.

I’m from the old forum, but my name has changed since those cats have passed. Way more of a lurker than a contributer, but I’m looking to soak up all that the community has to offer. My knowledge may be lacking, but my desire to learn burns bright.
