Can I also chime in and say Iā€™ve visited Paulā€™s shop? Was for a ā€œtactical tunaā€ that went back & forth between Paul and another shop because ā€˜said shopā€™ wouldnt transfer it to meā€¦ Paulā€™s great to work with. Glad to hear youā€™re doing well @PK90 !

Just found it again too and registered. I went to the old page a few time and nothing. I was looking for info on the conceal carry if its changed for NJ. I think Iā€™m going to go for it when I get back home. Iā€™m still down in Florida for another month but the weather feels like Jersey.

Welcome to our clubhouse. Glad you found us here. Curious if you have a CCW permit in FL?
Iā€™ve had one for years, but that right would end when I returned home to NJ. I still canā€™t believe that we can now carry in this state. You definitely should apply. There is plenty of information available here and in other places on how to do it.

Iā€™ve had one in Florida for 10 years. I just did a renewal in person at the tax collectorā€™s office. The ones down here are good for 5 years. Total cost with prints and a picture was $98.00. From what Iā€™ve read the process in NJ seems much easier now that its all online. I just have to signup for the class at WeShoot in Lakewood.

Thanks for the tip on doing the renewal at the tax collectorā€™s office. I have about two years left on my second permit, so Iā€™m good for awhile, but that info will be useful when it comes time to renew. By all means, apply for your NJ permit. The new process that I used for my renewal was much easier than the first time around.

It was so simple at the tax office. In and out in 5 min. It took longer to park the car. Iā€™ve been going to the range down here a lot. The range has targets a little smaller than the FBI Q targets. I hope to get into a class At WeShoot. As soon as they post the class for March Iā€™m going to book it.

After enduring the entire frigid month of January here in NJ, we are planning to finally make it down to Florida within a week or so. We have a place in Jupiter. Somewhat surprisingly, there are no places close by to shoot, so once a week or so, a few of us make the drive up to Stuart to the Continental Shooting Range. How about you, where are you located?
