Come celebrate DONATE and support 2A, but please let us deny your legal CCW in a place LITERALLY made for guns.

Will they have a MUrphy no CCW signs hung up
 asking for a friend.

Not my rules, just relaying the event. Contact info is there if you want to voice your opinion to them.

I will say this looks to be a “new/first time shooter” oriented event.

Good deal for people new to firearms.

Wont be getting many firearms people interested in giving any money to anti 2a clubs

I don’t know anything about the club or event beyond what’s in the flyer. However, categorizing them as “anti-2a” seems like a leap. They may be adhering to rules at the range they’re hosting at, and that range may be adhering to stipulations of their insurance policy.

I don’t know for sure, but I wouldn’t immediately jump to the conclusion that they’re “Anti 2A”.

Maybe not for you but for me, I don’t like it. It sends a bad message. Why would any firearm range restrict a CC holder after all the hoops we have to jump through? It’s a slap in the face. I would be fine with it if they put in large print that their insurer requires the event to restrict CC. Be transparent otherwise I’ll have to assume to worst, that they’re just being a-holes for no apparent reason.

Ask Old Bridge Rifle and Pistol Club too. PTC’ing inside the range still restricted there, and I believe it’s because it’s an insurance requirement.

That’s fine if it’s due to insurer reasons but they need to disclose that and not make it a secret.

Old Bridge recently passed a rule change and carrying a hot gun is now allowed.

How recently? Because it’s still a “secret” to me.

Haven’t seen it announced in any emails or any posted notices at the indoor range which I was just at last week.

A couple of months ago. They even sent emails out to the membership.

Got a date for the email? Obviously I haven’t seen it.

Found the email. 06/20/26 it first came out, same as the effective date, and I didn’t read it.

My searching on ‘PTC’ , ‘Permit’ and ‘Carry’ weren’t turning it up. ‘Hot Range’ brought it up.

Very interested in this

Just a thought, they should disclose a reason. At least they’re doing something, Would never se this by me in Bergen County.
Maybe they’re doing no carry so potential first timers don’t feel intimidated by others carrying around them. Also so only the instructors are handling the firearms so no chance of an accident.
I’m hoping it’s just a safety concern.
