Been said by others but they should refuse to sell to LE in any state where they can’t sell to citizens. AND sue at the same time.

Key Divisions: Includes the Connecticut State Police, Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security, Commission on Fire Prevention and Control, Police Officer Standards and Training Council, Division of Scientific Services, and Division of Statewide Emergency Telecommunications

This is quite similar to NJ’s Law and Public Safety department. It includes state police and some regulators. In NJ it’s worse though, since the Attorney General heads up our LPS. These are all part of the executive branch, who are mostly exempt from firearm rules or hire bodyguards with guns. They don’t even care to learn, nor care how much it impairs / criminalizes law abiding citizens.

In NJ, highly democratic views control the Executive Branch, governor, AG office. So much historically, that the liberal viewpoint is engrained in the entire executive branch, including the NJSP. They are ignorant of all effect, and quite uneducated in the law and firearms function in general (outside the couple models they carry). The legislature is the same, even worse on education and knowledge. The last (fifth) Basic law of firearm safety is Know the Functionality of the Firearm. They violate basic firearms laws without even knowing, while legislating laws they do not comprehend.

This makes these two branches weak and powerless though, when the take this approach. Our only recourse is in the Judicial branch, and the only success there is appeal to the federal level. But once a case reaches federal court, the lack of intelligence and education of the Executive and Legislative branches of New Jersey are evident. Now is the time to pursue needed and logical changes for “common use” things, via the Judicial Branch.

They are not ignorant or uneducated. They are well aware of what they are doing, it is all intentional.

I very much agree, they do it intentionally. But they don’t even take time to understand firearms, or the laws they write.

Instead they play “hot potato” with cases, passing them around from court to court, playing childish games, ranting and raving about “save the children”. That’s their focus. Then when a case comes back to the Third District and they have to defend the NJ law, they look like fools. They find a “random side footnote” to skirt the law, make up another BS definition that is vague and wrong, and call it that and violate the law again. Let them. That’s amateur hour. ANJRPC lawyers will destroy them every time, once it actually gets into court. For the next 2 years at least…
