It’s time to start thinning down the stuff, wife is starting to agree that it may be time to start thinking about getting out of Dodge and there’s 40 years of stuff here.
Way too much to list, the photos are just a sample
I have enough to easily stock a decent size tackle shop. Mostly surf gear, lots of custom wood, a fairly decent collection of vintage fishing reels and antique lures. A large collection of vintage rigs, and oddball stuff, perfect for decorating a mancave. All kinds of rod blanks, tons of fly tying materials.
Even a pair of Shimano deep drop electric reels if anyone is into the tilefish thing
I’m into black powder, mainly flintlock but also percussion that can be rebuilt to flint, assorted parts that can be used in a build… Also period type items, possible bags, powder horns, stuff like that.
Reloading for .308, 30-06, .45, .38+P (I have lots of brass already)
Only real need is a 12 ga double barrel that takes choke tubes. Nothing spectacular, just decent, would be used for skeet and sporting clays which I only do a handful of times each year (I’m good on trap stuff)
Hey Sudsy, you gonna be leaving Surftalk? I’m also gonna have a ton of inshore stuff for sale in the spring. Sold my boat. Gonna be surf only from now on.
Leaving SOL?? Of course not, I’ve been there since nearly the start, Tim’s a friend
This is my shooting site, that’s my surf fishing site.
I’m looking to trade lots of surf stuff for a little shooting stuff, this is a better site for that. If I were trading fishing for fishing it would be there. Easy peasy
When you said the Mrs was thinking about getting out of Dodge, I thought you were escaping this “great” state. I was sidelined this surf season with torn rotator cuff, but I’ll be back in the spring.
