Drones

I only made one flight yesterday, but I was up for about 20 mins. That included some ‘orientation flights’ around the yard, where I could see the drone and practice maneuvering it.

Seems to have decent battery life.

Speaking of batteries. I consider batteries to be a consumable. My drone kit came with 2, and I bought 2 more with a digital smart charger. I mark the batteries and track them like I would rifle/pistol magazines.

Not to scare anyone, but these Li-Po batteries hold a LOT of energy, and MUST be handled and charged carefully. They can cause SERIOUS fires (I’ve seen one).I HIGHLY recommend a smart charger for them.

NEVER leave a battery on a charger unattended.

Inspect your batteries before and after charging. ANY signs of swelling, immediately dispose of that battery.

ya don’t need jets. pick up a nice p-51 with a decent 4stroke, and have at it.
