All of these are sold bare (no drives) unless noted. Hot-swap bays are all 3.5" (SATA/SAS) good for home labs, Proxmox/ESXi hosts, Plex/NAS builds, or anyone running self-hosted services who wants real ECC RAM and hot-swap bays without paying new-server prices.

2U Supermicro, 6-bay hot-swap — Xeon E3-1220, 16GB RAM — $75 Entry-level home lab or NAS build. Bays are hot-swap SAS/SATA.

yes there are 2 SATA bays above the hot swap bays. If you want I can send you pics of that.

I couldnt get it to stop dropping wifi until I figured out that I had to change the ssid and wifi password to match that of my verizon router. Seems to be staying on now. There is alot I still dont know about this stuff…

Well, you have setup options with that. Single or separate networks.

As a single network your phones, laptops, and smart devices will only see one Wi-Fi network name throughout your space. Devices will automatically save the credentials and connect to whichever signal is available. The WAC124 is a standalone access point. It does not support seamless mesh roaming protocols. Devices may hold onto a weak signal from the main router even if you walk right next to the WAC124, until the connection drops completely or you toggle Wi-Fi off and on.

As a separate network, you have complete/manual control over which device connects to which hardware. You can guarantee high-bandwidth devices (like PC stations, streaming TV boxes, or consoles) stay locked to the WAC124 without accidentally hopping to the main router.

If you choose to use the same SSID on both the router and the WAC124 for broader coverage, follow these settings to avoid performance issues:

Set Hardcoded, Non-Overlapping Channels:

2.4 GHz Band: Manually set one device to Channel 1 and the other to Channel 6 or 11.

5 GHz Band: Assign them to distinct, separate channels

Well thanks for that info. I put the verizon Router 2.4 band to channel 1 and the Netgear 2.4 band to channel 6. I set the Verizon Router 5ghz band to channel 36 and the Netgear 5ghz band to channel 40. I hope I did this right. I have ethernet on the Verizon router too so it seems to be working with very fast wi fi speeds. Hope it doesnt drop out. I checked the power management of the network adapters and made sure the box is not checked that allows the computer to turn the wi fi adapter off for power saving.

4 hrs later and still connected. YAY!

But when I wake up this morning the wi fi is off and I have to turn it back on manually…
