# CCW renewal NJ

Ok so trying to renew CCW for NJ on line in the section where it has Employer information it has a field Phone Number. So on the original form it had Telephone (personal) what do I put in there now?

Depends on your investigating agency (local PD or NJSP). They may or may not actually call. If you work for a “big” company, give them the HR dept.'s number.

I used to work for a company that sent employment verification to a 3rd party they contracted with that charged a fee. That really irked the local PD detective who was investigating me, but he accepted a copy of a recent paystub with the numerical info redacted for employment verification instead.

I always gave my direct office phone number, figuring if they ever called I could either verify my own employment, or forward the call to HR

They never called.
