Buckmark or Mark IV?

If you’re looking for something completely different in .22; take a look at the Ruger Wrangler. I find shooting a single action revolver to be very relaxing.

The MKIV also comes in two primary variants. The regular model has the more angled grip and there are even more sub variants then there’s the 22/45 model which mimics the 1911 grip style. I got the Target variant. I’m also looking to get a 22/45 model eventually. Which MKIV model you ended up testing?

I believe it was this one.

I’ve got both. The Browning is (for me) more accurate, but a pain to take down. The Ruger isn’t as accurate (for me), but the push button take down is fantastic. Also have the S&W, which is somewhere in between both in terms of accuracy and cleaning. Can’t really go wrong with any of them.

Recently shot all three. I like the Buckmark a lot but had 3 FTL out of 100 rounds, but don’t know if it needed cleaning. Of all 3, the Victory had the best trigger and the Mark the worst. I really don’t mind the difficult field stripping.

Walther P22 here. Great fun plinker!

I love my Ruger Mark III Hunter but it’s a pain to breakdown. The Mark IV fixed that issue.

Buckmark all the way. Add fiber sights. Feels good in hand. Shoots great.

I have the Buckmark with a dot on it, love that gun.

My wife has the S&W Victory, she likes her stock sights. Excellent gun,

We also have a GSG 1911, I keep it around for people that want to learn about 1911’s but don’t want to shoot 9mm or larger ammo. It is also a good gun.

I love my GSG 1911. I am leaning towards the Buckmark.

yup that’s the 22/45 model
