Just reintroducing myself. I had been posting here regularly until (if memory serves) about two years ago. At that time I joined the NJ Firearms Owners’ Syndicate (NJFOS) and its group on FB, which covered similar territory to this forum, and it just became more convenient to post and exchange views and opinions there, since I logged in to FB every morning for other content. That was nice while it lasted 
A few months ago, seemingly out of the blue (I saw no warning of any kind in postings or public info there) an apparently on-going feud between the “owner” of the FB group and one of the officers of NJFOS erupted, with the result that the FB group was declared off-limits to that officer (and iirc several other frequent posters) and the group owner (again iirc) resigned from NJFOS. I had posted quite a bit of content there; some of that was very political (at the GOP vs Dems level), and some of that was fairly vicious, to the point that it could have been embarrassing if revealed in certain quarters. The nasty (and frankly juvenile) infighting with little explanation that suddenly materialized in the group gave me little trust that postings there would remain confidential, and that I was not at risk to be doxed, so I deleted every post I ever made, including all comments to same, before I left. Anyway, I guess in retrospect I should have stayed here - that was a learning experience, if nothing else.
