Hey folks I could use your help. I haven’t really had time to look for deals on Amazon so I was trying to automate finding sales on shooting related gear using their API. I couldn’t get it to work and then found out I don’t have access unless I have at least 10 qualifying sales (whatever that means) in the last 30 days. If you are looking to purchase something on Amazon, you do not need to purchase any item linked here, but clicking an Amazon link on this site first to start your shopping at Amazon might help towards us getting API access. I don’t buy a lot of shooting gear off Amazon, can I suggest posting items not related that you have found to be exceptional? Amazon tip: In the search bar type “daily deals” before the search term. eg _Daily Deals shooting supplies_ or _Daily deals red dots_, and you will get Amazons picks for the day. ---

6 items ordered so far… No idea yet how it breaks down into ‘sales’ for Amazon. But it seems like a good start for the month. Guess I’ll find out when I try the API again in a couple weeks. Still not eligible 🤷‍♂️ says 13 items shipped but no idea how that might break down into ‘qualified sales’ Need 10 to become eligible for the API access. Share whatever you find for great deals and it doesn’t need to be firearms related. I don’t care if it’s toilet paper or whatever. Just want to get access to see if we can uncover any deals we might otherwise miss. I finally got a response from support and they said I’m currently at 8 qualifying sales. Need 2 more for the previous 30 days to unlock API access. Doesn’t go by item count but for my access it doesn’t show the sales details so I have no way to tell. I only see # of items ordered/shipped. So please continue to share your finds.
